This home is deep in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas in what they call the Arkansas Grand Canyon. It is so beautiful here, and we have so much wildlife. You can sit out on the back deck or the front porch and watch the deer play across the way or the Elk graze out in the field. The front room window view is a beautiful one, looking out onto the mountains. It is so quite here that you can here yourself think. The crickets sing a lullaby every evening that just dissolves all the days’ stresses and worries. There are loads of things to do in this area. This home is only about 11 miles from the Buffalo River which is famous in these parts for canoeing, fishing, camping, and hiking. There is so much to see on the Buffalo River, so many waterfalls and old homesteads. Then we have many other old homesteads to explore all over our county. Next we have several caverns to explore and see. We even have one cavern that has a waterfall in the middle of it. We have several tours throughout our community all season around, that are just breathe taking and memorable to go on. We also have our annual Elk Festival, and County Fair. Down on the square in the spring and summer we have live music almost every weekend. There are many, and I do mean many, trials to go exploring down on 4-wheelers and horse back too. And we always have an abundance of motorcyclist every year. This is a great place to retire too, to escape too from the big cities, and even a great place to raise your children with some good old fashion simple rules and away from violence and crime. There is a wonderful school district in this county, and the next large town is only 20 miles away, Harrison Arkansas.
